Why we started Solafya

Building the clinical guardrails for modern healthcare.

We help independent practices prevent the silent risk of missed abnormal labs by integrating a clinical intelligence layer into your EHR, automating follow-up, and making sure every result is tracked to resolution.

Talk to us

Started after watching abnormal results get missed in independent practices with no workflow team to catch them.

Guided by two board-certified Emergency Medicine physicians who see the cost of missed follow-up every shift.

Built specifically for 10 to 50 clinician independent medical groups, not hospital systems.

Live today inside athenaOne. As we work alongside founding partner practices, we are expanding our clinical intelligence layer to support additional leading EHR systems used by physician-owned medical groups.

Why Solafya exists

Abnormal lab results get missed. In high-volume outpatient settings, follow-up responsibility becomes fragmented between the ordering clinician, the front desk, and the patient, and the gaps cost patients real outcomes.

We started Solafya because the clinics we cared about most, independent practices, didn't have the workflow infrastructure that big hospitals took for granted. Manual systems break down at scale. We built LabWatch to close the gap with structure, not heroics.

Our approach

We believe clinical technology should:

Strengthen workflow reliability

Lab follow-up shouldn't rely on memory. Every abnormal result has a documented owner, a follow-up plan, and a closed loop.

Reduce administrative burden

Staff time should go back to patient care, not to chasing labs across spreadsheets, sticky notes, and inboxes.

Enhance, not replace, clinical judgment

Every AI suggestion is labeled, cited, and physician-reviewed. Clinicians decide. We make sure they have what they need to decide well.

LabWatch operates quietly inside the systems you already use. It gives you visibility and follow-through, not another dashboard to check.

Focused on independent practices

Big health systems have dedicated workflow teams, IT departments, and quality officers. Independent practices often don't.

We built Solafya for the practices that do the most clinical work with the least operational support: the practices that hold the line on primary care without hospital-scale infrastructure to back them up.

Our clinical advisors

Two practicing physicians help shape Solafya, reviewing workflows, product decisions, and clinical content from the inside of real clinical practice.

Los Angeles, CA

Board-certified Emergency Medicine physician with over a decade of frontline practice across multiple hospital systems in California. Top-rated by patients and recognized for clinical excellence. Brings real-world perspective on what good clinical workflow looks like, and where it breaks down when a lab result doesn't make it back to the right clinician.

Dr. Aws Al-Abdullah, MD

Clinical Advisor, Emergency Medicine

Dr. Aws Al-Abdullah, MD

Scottsdale, AZ

Board-certified Emergency Medicine physician with over a decade of practice at a leading hospital system in the Southwest. Sees firsthand, every shift, what happens when lab results don't get followed up, and why independent clinics need stronger workflow infrastructure to back them up.

Focused on independent medical groups

Enterprise hospitals have dedicated workflow teams. Independent medical groups often do not. Solafya builds practical infrastructure for physician-owned groups that carry heavy lab volume without enterprise resources.
